With its sassy, modern attitude, Le Glossy Escape reminds us to celebrate self-expression and the limitless power of imagination.

A bright and inviting opening of Calabrian bergamot delivers an energizing spark, while pink pepper oil adds its vibrant spicy shimmer. This adds contrast to the floral heart where orris takes center stage – elegant, creamy, powdery with a silver lining. Violet leaves and a vivid lathyrus accord add movement and imagination, like colors bleeding outside the lines.

A small dose of fresh petally rose damascena oil grounds the blend with nostalgic softness, without losing its contemporary skin scent vibe. As it dries down, molecular amber lingers on, unfolding into a sleek mix of Virginia cedarwood and smooth sandalwood, all wrapped in swirly musks. A final edge of patchouli deepens the trail - textured, deep, and comfortable.

Since 2015, MIRROR MIRROR has been inspiring enthusiasts of fashion, beauty, fragrance, and photography. Embracing our motto, “the joy of collaboration,” we collaborated with this iconic magazine to create Le Glossy Escape: an alluring, stylish fragrance that reflects a colorful, surreal world, evoking imagination and a sense of wonder.

Sustainable ingredients
Cedarwood, tuberose and pink pepper are upcycled ingredients. Upcycling adds value to materials and waste that would otherwise have been discarded.

Perfume designer Tanja Deurloo worked for this creation together with perfumer Hélène Vonesch.

Born in Strasbourg, Hélène’s passion for scent and taste began in her parents’ restaurant kitchen. From a young age, she experimented with pastry recipes, blending familiar ingredients into fragrant desserts like rose and orange blossom cakes. This early exposure to flavor and aroma sparked her path toward perfumery, where she continues to draw inspiration from food, often imagining how to translate dishes into fragrances.

Her creative curiosity led her to study piano at the Conservatory and later pursue perfumery at ISIPCA in Versailles. Fascinated by the parallels between music and scent—both built from notes and nuances—she developed a distinctive style that combines scientific precision with artistic sensitivity. Known for her short, refined formulas, she favors woods and spices, especially the sparkling brightness of pink pepper and the citrusy green bite of cardamom.

For Hélène, perfumery is about discovery, emotion, and the joy of creating scents that make people smile.
